We are parents of Kushal Kulkarni(Grade VI) & Kimaya Kulkarni(Grade III). Writing this email to thank you and the entire teachers community in NPS for outstanding work they have been doing during such testing times.

In hindsight, I think this pandemic has brought best in people. We as parents understand the kind of preparation teachers need for online classes, they became students of technology before imparting knowledge to pupils. Patience and perseverance of teachers are the key qualities that stood out for us. All along we have been kept up-to-date with adequate information.

We admitted our kids to NPS during this year. I think we made the right decision. We are confident that your school will elevate our kids to the next level.

We will start by introducing ourselves to you as parents of DarshVikas, Class 6D, at NPS Banashankari. This year has had its share of gifts and challenges that were unprecedented for the world. One that we consider a gift, was in having chosen the right environment for our son's education.

While schools and teachers around the world were experimenting with how to teach children and ensure they learn; you and your team of teachers that teach our son, seemed to have got so many things right. Since June, we have seen our son transform in his interest in technology as a way to communicate with teachers and classmates, feel connected with conversations, learning and assignments. He also misses school moments that are irreplaceable. One such moment he missed was a day when he was waiting for the morning prayer to start and he told us, 'If we were in school now, I would be chatting with my friends in the school grounds.'

Nothing can replace the joys of the memories that are created in school grounds. And yet as we were all forced to work in the new normal, we noticed the care with which all of you at school managed discipline, ensured focus on all subjects, brought in assignments for students to work in small groups and even managed examinations in video proctored mode.

Of course there have been adjustments that many parents would have had to make, to ensure children are able to cope in this environment and our respect to every parent who is doing their bit to make all this work. We also had our adjustment period with class logistics and getting used to the schedule in the early months. With the mid-term gone by, we can safely celebrate the completion of half an academic year!

As a parent, and an educator by profession in the corporate world, I noticed how almost seamlessly you had leveraged good practices for the benefits of students’ education. My husband and I are grateful for the provision of high quality education for our son within the safety of home, at a time like this.

A big round of Applause for the work what you have done..... Regarding the class Anvik Used to enjoy a lot, but it was difficult for me to handle him during the online class, as he was so excited to answer the questions....Initial days it was tough for him to understand English, but regular class he became used to it and started grasping things easily...I have a request to the teachers please open the school so that he can interact with teachers and his friends.. The activity was interesting which made him to do independently as he was trying to do it neatly but still he could not....but no problem he will definitely overcome it...Thank You both Chaitra mam and Nandini mam for helping all the kids to learn the basic even in this pandemic situation....... I really appreciate your efforts to make my child study even in this kind of situation, even-though it was online classes she was much interested to attend the classes. The method of teaching was too good. Worksheet you have given for practice were really helpful for us to clear the concept to Sahitya. All the sessions were planned well and kids really enjoyed it. Thanks to Chaitra ma'am and Nandini ma'am.

I thank both the teachers Nandini mam and Chaitra mam. Harshil learnt a lot this year. Teachers were clear with instructing both parents and kids. Everything was informed well in advance. I really liked festival celebrations part. We as parents could not explain importance of each festival but teachers did. All in all good year for kids in this pandemic. One drawback I think of is time management for me, I am working mother. I had to spend lots of time with kids and also at my work, it was tough. Thank you again.

Thanks for giving us & kids comfortable environment for study , Thanks again for holding hand of jiyan in his first step of school journey , he is very much blessed to have teachers like Nandini mam &Chaitra mam .

I would like to thank both the teachers for helping Anvi to build that interest to attend online classes, as earlier she wasn't ready to attend it. And even during this pandemic they have learnt a lot.

I would like to thank both the teachers for putting in so much effort for the upbringing of kids. Vikas has improved in his English and tries to communicate in it even if it's wrong. Definitely the credit goes to the teachers. Much appreciable is the kind of teaching that was given even in this pandemic. Thanks a lot mams.

Hello All , Though delayed it’s never too late to Thank and express gratitude. Myself dr.manjunath and my wife dr.Mythri would sincerely Thank and Appreciate Nandhini /Chaitrama’am , for all the support, care and attention given to our kid Ujjwal .Must Thank NPS for trying their best to handle online classes in most diligent and simpler ways during Covid times. Below is our experience that has been sincerely shared so that somewhere kids away from parents can be focused little better as they really need more attention. We being Drs by profession could not Attend All of his classes every time ,for safety reasons our child was away with his grand mother , I believe kids obviously learn better when they sit with parents than with others at home , our son started liking online classes which initially he did not and he would finish online work sheets and activity with lot of enthusiasm but whenever other kids were more appreciated and their names were called upon multiple times we could see he felt bit let down and bit upset and sad . His granny would try her best to cheer him up and we did our part from long distance ,But we could only blame Covid as myself and my wife were busy serving the society we could not attend his classes , Teachers did track his activities and work sheets and kept communicating. And Ujjwal has learnt lot in last 10 months , we are very sure he would shape better with time and expertise of NPS teachers . We once again sincerely Thank Nandhini /Chaitra ma’am for all the support and care and expect the same in future . It is a great opportunity for me as a parent to actually sit with my son and attend all classes.As a parent I understand where my son started in the class with respect to other students, my son’s strengths and weak points that has given me a better idea to help him and encourage him to study well.All the ppt’s video’s and worksheets send by the teachers are so good and informative.Thank u so much mam.

It was such a wonderful journey for my daughter Saanvi and us her parents during the last year, which we never expected and initially wondered how the kids would pick up this new change in the way of teaching. The portions taught, the materials provided and assessments given were just apt for the kids to start from just knowing the alphabets to confidently writing and reading sentences. It wouldn’t have been possible without Sunitha Maam. She would patiently teach the kids, correct them wherever necessary and she has also helped us groom Saanvi for her to confidently and happily complete this academic year and go to the next grade. We are really grateful for all the teachers and the school for passionately helping us to mould our kids into amazing human beings.
