“Fun Fiesta”, a fun festival was organised by the Montessori department for their Montessori III children and their lovely mommies on 25th February, 2023.
Our excited children and the beautiful ladies joined hands to play an ice breaker game of “Clap- Boom-Snatch”. The children liked the game “Centring the ball” so much that it went on and on for many rounds.
The smile on the lips and the excitement in the eyes never faded throughout the event. Overall, the name “Fun Fiesta” was very apt for this festival of fun filled games. The combination of both educative and energetic games made the event a great success.
National Public School has two programs concurrently – the Montessori children of age group 2.8 to 5.8 years and Kindergarten children of age group 1.8 to 5.8 years.
"Montessori is an education for independence, preparing not just for school, but for life."
Dr. Montessori referred to the first stage in human development (birth to age 6) as it is the time of the absorbent mind.
Children learn effectively with practical approach. The concrete materials in the classroom allow the children explore the world through their senses, through touch and motion, and by observing and engaging with others. One main feature of Montessori education is its hands-on approach to learning. Students work with specially designed materials, manipulating and investigating until they master the lesson inside. Teachers guide students through the curriculum as children are ready for each new challenge, introducing lessons and then letting children practice what they have learned. As children grow, the classroom materials grow with them in the sense that older children use the materials to explore curriculum in new and deeper ways.
The 3-6 year old goes through an intense period of change, including the transition to cooperative play and more complex social interactions, a language explosion leading to beginning skills in writing and reading, the emergence of number sense and the foundations of math, and great changes in physical development. The Montessori teacher responds to these changes in social and emotional, cognitive, and physical development with appropriate lessons to support each child’s growth and emerging capabilities.
With the number of schools for you to choose from, we understand how important it is to consider various factors to ensure a positive, well-rounded experience for your child. The value of quality early childhood education and care establishes a strong foundation for life-long learning and reaping social and economic benefits. Here at National public school, Banashankari paired with our early literacy-based curriculum, we incorporate multi-disciplinary dimensions in Kindergarten. We create engaging activities that stimulate the imagination, arouse curiosity, encourage problem solving and develop social skills. Most importantly, we create an environment that’s relaxed and enjoyable and encourages your child to respect themselves and others.
The benefit of sending your child to a kindergarten is critical for your child’s growth and holistic development. High quality education is provided here at NPS, BSK for children and families. So, parents can be re-assured that their children are in good hands. Also, the survey result show children who are admitted in kindergarten classes tend to have better cognitive skills, higher IQ, better understanding, improved social interactions and develop a deeper love for learning. Children who have a good learning start, are likely to be smarter and more successful.
