Note: Admission to the school is open to all children, irrespective of caste, creed, race, religion, gender or country.

We would like to inform every parent that we have limited seats available for the grades I to IX. As per the policy and directive of CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education), we have the following guidelines for admission which is followed by the Department of Education as well.


  • The first priority is for siblings and children of our staff.
  • The second priority is for the nationally mobile group, including central services and other transferable services of India.
  • Priority for admissions is also listed for people who are internationally mobile coming from schools outside India.
  • Admissions to Grades I to IX are finalised based on the performance in the eligibility test and the number of seats available on account of withdrawal due to parents’ transfer.
  • During admission, a copy of previous 3 years’ academic progress report from the previous institution must be submitted (for grades 2 & above).
  • Parents are requested to check the website periodically for updates regarding the eligibility test.
  • Exerting any influence for admission directly or indirectly will be a disqualification.

  • Grade 1 – English and Mathematics
  • Grades 2 to 5 - English, Mathematics and II Language (Kannada/Hindi)
  • Grades 6 - English, Mathematics and II Language (Kannada/Hindi/Sanskrit)
  • Grades 7 and 8 - English, Mathematics, Science, II Language (Kannada/Hindi/Sanskrit) and III Language (Kannada/Hindi/Sanskrit/French)
  • Grade 9 - English, Mathematics, Science and II Language (Kannada/Hindi/Sanskrit)

Note: To have an effective teaching learning process, we limit the class strength.


Terms and Conditions:
  • Registration for admission does not ensure an admission. Admission is granted on merit only. Eligibility test is conducted before granting admission.
  • National Public School Banashankari is a private self-financing institution. An annual fee increase of 10 to 15 percent is effective to offset the increasing expenditure by way of salary, maintenance, and material expenditure.
  • If an intimation is not received, it should be presumed that there are no seats during the year and no separate intimation is sent to the candidates not selected.
  • Any direct or indirect influence will entail outright rejection of such applications and all incomplete applications will also be rejected.
  • School fee once paid is non-refundable.

Note to parents: Kindly ensure that your child has a good breakfast, carries all the required material with him/her and arrives on time. There is no special preparation to be done for the eligibility test.

Withdrawal/TC
  • Intimation of withdrawal of a student from the school should be given in the prescribed form to the Principal, at least one month in advance and request for TC should be made by 1st of April.
  • TC on withdrawal will be issued only when all the dues to the school have been cleared. All fees up to and including the month in which the TC has been requested for, shall be payable.
