14th September is celebrated as Hindi diwas all over India. National Public School, Banashankari Bengaluru celebrated the Hindi diwas from 6th Sept to 14th Sept 2016. To venerate the Hindi diwas, children of Grade V to X presented different programmes and accentuated the assembly.
Hindi Diwas commenced with the welcome note that elucidated the significance of Hindi, followed by ‘Ganesha vandhana’ an electrifying classical dance performance as salutation to the Ubiquitous.
To highlight prominent human values – Wit and presence of mind, children performed a drama from the historical Akbar-Birbal Katha. No less, the children of primary had a spellbinding fancy dress competition garbed as different vegetables and fruits and they explained the science behind it. Poetic, was the performance of the children of grade X who had a beguiling content of different attributes of nature in the form of Poems. Saved it for the last, children of Grade X bequeathed vote of thanks. The entire week of Hindi diwas was enticing.
